Listen to this chapter:

"It sure is lively today."

Just as tension filled the air, a teasing voice cut through like a blade of ice.

"Andrew, youโ€™ve done so much evil, itโ€™s about time karma caught up to you. Today, youโ€™re finally getting what you deserve.โ€

Andrew frowned and looked past Wilder toward the entrance, wondering, โ€˜Who the hell is it now?โ€™

He could not help but think maybe he should have checked the stars and the planets before opening the door.

Why was everyone coming over to pick a fight with him today?

Everyone turned toward the doorway and saw a stunning woman with a cold expression walking in gracefully.

Wilder said indifferently, โ€œWell, look who it is.โ€

The newcomer was not just anyone; it was Valerie. She did not even glance at Wilder. From the moment she appeared, her eyes locked onto Andrew, filled with endless hatred and the urge to kill.

โ€œToday, one of us dies, you bastard,โ€ she hissed through clenched teeth, her jaw tight enough to crack.

Andrew said calmly, โ€œLast time, you brought that on yourself. If youโ€™re not satisfied, we can do it again. But this time, I wonโ€™t hold back. You might actually die for real, so I hope you take that seriously.โ€

Valerieโ€™s face burned red as she recalled the humiliation of being touched, slapped, and completely naked by Andrew that night before. Her anger surged, her once-elegant expression blazing with fury.

She snapped, โ€œFine. Letโ€™s see who dies first.โ€

She looked ready to tear him apart right there.

Wilder frowned. โ€œValerie, youโ€™ve got a grudge against this brat too?โ€

Valerie gritted her teeth. โ€œItโ€™s more than a grudge. In this world, only one of us can exist. Either he goes, or I do.โ€

Wilder nodded slowly. โ€œYour feud isnโ€™t something Iโ€™ll interfere in. But Andrew, you sure have a lot of enemies. Youโ€™re like a piece of rotten trash; wherever you go, someone ends up suffering.โ€

Andrew shrugged. โ€œYeah, Iโ€™m rotten trash. At least Iโ€™m not the one with a dead son, and I wonโ€™t end up as a childless old man with no one to care for me.โ€

Wilderโ€™s blood boiled. In a flash of rage, he raised his hand, spiritual energy roaring through the hall like a storm.

The entire Medicine Godโ€™s Covenant shook violently under the pressure.

Valerie stumbled forward and stood between them, shouting, โ€œMr. Murphy Senior, wait! Andrew is mine. You canโ€™t kill him.โ€

Wilder roared, โ€œMove aside! That bastard deserves to die! Today, I donโ€™t care if itโ€™s called bullying; Iโ€™ll crush this menace myself!โ€

Valerie said coldly, โ€œAnd what about my revenge then? He humiliated me! He stole my innocence! I swore Iโ€™d take his life with my own hands!โ€

Wilder froze, his expression uncertain. โ€œYouโ€™re sayingโ€ฆ he took your innocence?โ€

Valerieโ€™s face turned crimson. She gave a small, silent nod.

Wilder stared at Andrew for a long moment before smirking darkly. โ€œSo not only did you murder my son, but you also had the guts to assault the Reyes familyโ€™s precious princess? Andrew, youโ€™re as good as dead. If someone like you gets to live, it would be a complete injustice.โ€

He continued, โ€œFine. Iโ€™ll let Valerie handle it. If she kills you, Iโ€™ll call it even. But if she fails, Iโ€™ll finish the job myself. In other words, youโ€™re trapped between a wolf and a tiger. No escape. Only death awaits you.โ€

Andrew looked completely unfazed. โ€œIf youโ€™re done talking, then get lost already. Oh, wait, Mr. Murphy Senior, since youโ€™re here, let me offer you a deal. My shop just opened today, and everythingโ€™s on sale. Premium elixirs, finest quality. Want to buy some?"

โ€œEven if you donโ€™t need them, you can always bury them next to your dead son. Iโ€™m sure he would appreciate them in the underworld. After all, some of these were crafted by yours truly.โ€
