Uriel pondered for a moment before speaking. "Ms. Theron, about his proposal just now… Are you really going to consider it? Ms. Valerie is no ordinary person."

Elaine’s eyes flickered, and she said coldly, "No one can resist the temptation of ten supreme elixirs, not even me, despite having no more desires. But the thought of Valerie marrying down to Amari? I’m not willing to accept that."
