She rolled up her sleeves, her eyes terrifyingly cold. “How would I know if you’ve said bad things about me? Why should I explain to him? It wasn’t me who made him misunderstand you!”
Josie swept a cold glance over the onlookers before returning her gaze to Natalie’s face. “I have no relationship with Jaden. I didn’t sow discord. If you really feel wronged, find a way to prove your own innocence. Don’t expect me to help you. I have no such obligation.”
Josie glanced at Jaden again. She said, “I don’t know what’s gotten into you suddenly, but between you and me, we severed all ties the day I left the team. I won’t dwell on what you did to me in the past, but that doesn’t mean I can forgive you.
“You can apologize if you want; I won’t accept it. Because a lot of harm can’t be erased just by saying ‘sorry.’
“I have already left your team. Now, I just want to study hard, make progress every day, and work hard to achieve first place in my year for my new major. Can you please stop bothering me?
“Whether you argue or unite, handle it internally amongst yourselves. Why drag me into it? What did I ever do to you?”
Josie was so angry that her little face puffed up. She wore an expression of being the number one wronged and unlucky person in the world, stunning the onlookers into silence.
Even Natalie’s expression froze. She even forgot to cry.
Josie pushed Jaden away and said, “Stay away from me. From now on, don’t talk to me, so I won’t become that petty, unreconciled, and sordid person who sows discord in your relationship again! I’m not taking the fall for this. If any of you want to, go ahead, but don’t come to me!”
After she finished speaking, she stormed off into the distance.
As soon as she left, the assembled onlookers erupted into excitement.

“Enough!” Jaden’s face turned red with anger, his neck bulging. “What do any of you know? All of you, get lost! Get away from here!”
‘I just wanted to apologize to Josie. Why did it turn out like this? Why is everyone blaming me? Clearly, I am the one who was deceived by Natalie!’ He was furious.
Jaden abruptly turned to glare at Natalie. “You are really something. Just a few words and you’ve made me the target of everyone. Is this how you treated Josie back then as well?”
“I…” Natalie’s tears started falling again. “Jaden, I didn’t say anything just now!”
Jaden was so angry he almost laughed. ‘Was she going to say again that it was Josie who caused me to be like this?’
“What are you all making a scene about?” Just as Jaden was about to lose control of his temper, Gavin and Vincent, who had heard the news, rushed into the crowd.
Vincent dragged Jaden away and said, “What are you making a scene about? The team just went through a major incident. Things are already embarrassing enough. Aren’t you ashamed to be arguing with Natalie?”
