The whole way there, Megan chattered nonstop, talking excitedly about the shoot in Bustin City.
“Do you think we’ll see any celebrities?”
“Of course, we will.”
Megan’s eyes sparkled. “Then maybe we’ll run into something fun too! Where exactly are we filming?”
Aurora thought for a moment. “We probably will, but as for the location, didn’t you already get the details?”
To Aurora, it wasn’t something worth romanticizing. She knew how variety shows worked—everything was scripted, down to the smallest detail. Learning anything from it would already be a bonus; she wasn’t expecting much more.
But Megan didn’t share that view. Her face was glowing with excitement and anticipation.
“Aurora, I just think it’ll be great to experience different kinds of jobs. That’s how you find what’s really fun about life.”
Megan spoke with surprising seriousness. “I think I just haven’t experienced enough in life. That’s why I still struggle with so many things. I really believe we have to keep looking forward.
“And now I genuinely want to broaden my horizons—learn and experience more. If I keep living like this, I’m going to end up a total mess.”
She sighed softly, especially aware of the gap between herself and Aurora since working beside her.
Aurora smiled. “It’s good that you think this way, but take it one step at a time. You can’t swallow the world in a day.”
Hearing that, Megan felt comforted. She knew she tended to rush things and needed to learn patience.
Aurora’s calm, grounded attitude always amazed her. No matter the situation, she could stay focused on herself, unbothered by outside noise. She had her own compass—what others did didn’t matter. As long as she grew each day, even a little, that was progress.
That mindset was exactly what Megan admired most about her, and she silently promised herself to learn from it.
“But still,” Megan said with a bright grin. “I’m really looking forward to this shoot.”
Aurora gave a small, amused smile.
